Scope of the Center
To the best of our knowledge, the CMPH is the only center of its
kind located within a medical school in the United States.
- Initial activities will be focused primarily within the
State of Florida
- Leadership in the southeast region of the country will
encourage similar efforts in neighboring states
- Maintaining national affiliations and partnerships will ensure
the Center activities are cutting edge best practices that will
allow bridges between the houses of medicine and public health to
be formed and navigated.
